Who makes ETHNO Studio happen?

Ethno has changed my life for the better. After finishing my film music composition and production studies in the Netherlands, Ethno has shown me a completely new world of music, and I haven’t let go of it since. Additionally it has taught me so much about people and cultures, and I’ve made many great friends from around the world. It is a true privilege and joy to be able to share my technical skills and knowledge about sound and music production with young and ambitious people, and to better empower them to record their own music.

ETHNO is celebration of the uniting power of music. I feel bliss, when I witness how people from all over the world play, dance and laugh together – and become friends eventually. In times like these, in which marginalisation and xenophobia sadly play a prominent role, I think of ETHNO as an extremely important contribution to international understanding. In addition to this, it’s the sensational musical quality, which motivates me to contribute to ETHNO Germany. My musician’s heart beats faster, when I get the chance to explore the musical diversity of this planet with superb musicians.

I am overjoyed to realize such a music project with such an amazing team. There was a life before I knew Ethno and the life afterwards. I don't want to go back to my old life. I have never experienced such a revelation of humanity. The joy of life in its greatest communal form. With Ethno people understand that we are all part of a whole. I wish everyone to be able to experience this.
