The Burg Orchestra is formed by people of different ages, from different places in Germany and around the world. The repertoire consists of songs brought in by the participants themselves. Based on the ETHNO peer-to-peer method, the songs are taught and learned by ear, without sheet music, in the so-called song and tune learning sessions. As a group, we will work organically on each melody, and arrangement and so build a concert set. All this yes, in 4 days! The mentor team is there to guide this process.
There are no requirements for participation, only knowing how to sing or play your instrument. The most important thing is that we have a good time together, get to know each other, exchange music, jam late into the night and spend relaxing days at Burg Lichtenberg.
