2026 there was no special group of dancers and no dance mentor. Still, the participants explored dances from different traditional backgrounds and discovered variety of traditional and modern dances.
They collaborated together and created a big performance with dance and music from all over the world.
The ruins of Castle Lichtenberg near Kusel (Palatinate) provided once again a rustic yet fascinating scenery for musicians and dancers working side by side, creating breath-taking performances, where sound and movement merged together. About 40 participants shared and explored diverse cultural backgrounds, learned and reinvented traditional music & dances and connected through the power of music & dance.

Music and dance – and as a spectacular joint project. The documentary film ‘Als ob die Welt tanzt’ (As if the world were dancing) follows the development of this unique ethnic symbiosis. The film crew sensitively observes the participants and asks them about their feelings and motivations.
On 21 and 22 August, the film was shown at the German Film Festival in Ludwigshafen am Rhein.
